Carmen Vraciu

    Even though my academic training and professional life had nothing to do with painting, 13 years ago I decided to cultivate my love for art and started taking painting courses. I was able to explore this territory that was totally foreign to me until then, and that changed my life.

 

    Shy, I started working alone, not only under the guidance of teacher - artist Fabiana Dima. I started to approach different themes and techniques. I tried to discover what defines me as an artist and I found out, first of all, that I have to try, not to be afraid and that in art there is no mistake.

 

    Today I can say that I managed to stop being afraid of "colored grays" and of contrasts. I created my own style by working and managing to gather my observational spirit, patience and the courage to try.

 

    13 years of trying on this land of painting! I learned a lot and evolved: I participated in creative camps and collective or personal exhibitions, I created a painting group with which in the 13 years I managed to give life to many joint projects, I wrote and illustrated a children's book, I created a style for myself.
